I think UT is a lot deeper. I think UK has much better guards though. It's unfair the difference really. As for coaching, Pearl has dominated Calimari since he's came to UT. I'd also take Chism over Patterson any day of the week.

Where are you watching the UK/CSU game? I cant find it on.

Bledsoe is still learning, and may have some problems early but by the end of the year, he should become a reliable option.

If he does struggle they can bring guys off the bench like Ramon Harris and Darius Miller off the bench, guys who have experience and can score and play D.

Like I said, UT will be a top ten teams and could make a final four run, but with the talent level, Patrick Patterson and John Wall, and Calapari's offense, I really think UK has a shot at a title.

Chism over Patterson??? You've lost it. There's no way Chism is a better player than Patterson.

Patterson could be national player of the year, a top 20 NBA draft pick, and a first team All-American.

I dont think UT has more quality depth than UK. UK has guys like Ramon Harris, Darius Miller, Perry Stevenson, and very very talented frosh like Jon Hood and Daniel Orton, both future NBA players.

and Calapari has made Final Fours and played for national titles, Pearl is a good coach but not in Cal's league IMO

I've never been impressed with Patterson. I prefer Chism because I think he's more versatile. Patterson has ZERO chance at being National Player of the Year either.

Calapari's made Final Four's played for National Titles and Pearl's still dominated him with rosters that aren't 1/3 as loaded as what Calipari has had.

The game is on CBS Colleege Sports. 613 on Directv. Bledsoe is terribly overrated. Cleveland State lost quite a bit from last years team and was making him look like I was dribbling the ball up against Michael Jordan. He has 4 turnovers, 4 fouls, 2 assists and 5 points with 5 minutes left.

Patterson has a great chance at being NPOY. He will put up 20 points and 10 boards.
Chism is able to shoot the three somewhat, but he is nowhere near as capable down low as Patterson.
I thought it was general knowledge that Patterson is the best big in the SEC.
Chism isnt even the 2nd best big in the SEC, Vernardo is.

If Pearl's so much better, then why isnt he making the final four and playing for national titles?

And how in the world is going 1-1 against someone dominating them? That makes no sense at all.

If he can dominate a team that played for a national title, then why is his team losing to Oklahoma State in the first round?

****, he did have a terrible game.

I do think its a lil early to say a player is a huge disappointment after only 5 games.

Let's give him a couple more games before we throw him under the bus.

I didnt' say he was a disappointment, just overrated. Wall has 6 turnovers tonight. Thats not gonna cut it, especially when they are not great defenders either. Wall is going to be a phenom, but Bledsoe isn't going to live up to the hype I dont believe. He can be good, but not great.

Bledsoe could turn out to just be average, its hard to tell yet.

If he isnt as great as he was supposed to be itll hurt UK, but not set the back too far IMO.

    Stripes, you are a UT fan, settle this for us;
Who would you rather have, Patrick Patterson or Wayne Chism.

I'd take Vernardo over Chism or Patterson. He's a freak.

Pearl has 1 NT in D2. He's not going to win a national title at UT, never will not going to happen, no matter who's there.

Pearl's 2-1. I actually thought they'd played more. Which is why I thought he'd dominated him more. I knew the last one was the only one Cal had won. I thought they'd played 2 times in 06-07. I was thinking it was 4-1.

    06 UT 76 Memphis 58
    07 UT 66 Memphis 62
    08 Memphis 54 UT 52

Considering the players that Memphis has vs those of UT, it should never even be a game. Yet, Pearl's least talented team beat a loaded Memphis team by almost 20, beat the team that played for the NC, and Pearls worst team lost by 2 last year.
